Kansas Surgery & Recovery Center is the state's leading orthopedic surgery specialty hospital. We have been recognized by HealthGrades as one of America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Joint Replacement care for six consecutive years (2013-2018)
We can accommodate inpatient and outpatient procedures from a wide variety of surgical specialties. If you are admitted for inpatient services you will be cared for by our skilled nurses. We staff to a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio – better than the national average – and all of our nurses are ACLS-certified. Thanks to our response time stat tracking, we can proudly say our nurses answer patient calls in five minutes or less 90 percent of the time.
We are required to report quality indicators to the federal government. They, in turn, post these results on the website Medicare.gov, which is the official U.S. government site for Medicare.
Our post-surgery complication rates for joint replacement are among the nation’s best.
